- I think you can also buy them at some grocery stores and stuff too! But if your wanting to cash them in the bank will not accept coins that are not rolled. You could always take them to a coin machine. I dont know where you live but we have them where i live they count all the change you put in them and give you cash.

Do Banks Give You Free Coin Wrappers
Archived
I'm getting a bundle of change quicker than I thought I would, and my bank only takes rolls of coins. I split the cost with my mother last time for empty change rolls, but I've used about half the coin rolls (that's an estimate - I keep getting rolls of pennies a lot from picking them up and/or receiving them as change, so at least 5 rolls of pennies and a roll of each other type of coins).
So, my mother is asking me to get new coin rolls for myself, so she can still use some. Note: I am using these rolls of coins for extra student loan payments on my federal loans, so the smaller cost the better.
So, any ideas on where I can get them either cheaply and/or for free?

Do Banks Give Away Coin Wrappers
No bank guarantee MAY LOSE VALUE Securities and other investment and insurance products are: not a deposit; not FDIC insured; not insured by any federal government agency; not guaranteed by TD Bank, N.A. Or any of its affiliates; and, may be subject to investment risk, including possible loss of value. Feb 01, 2011 I've been told by a colleague that banks give out coin wrap rolls upon request. Was wondering if anybody had any knowledge of which banks offer this, as it'd be counterproductive to buy the rolls for my pennies and nickels considering they aren't worth all too much. Many thanks in advance! Banks Accept Coins Deposits in Coin Wrappers. Coin wrappers are paper wrappers that come color-coded for different coin denominations. Each wrapper is used to roll 40 to 50 coins in denominations of 25 cents or less. Wrappers do exist for 50-cent and one-dollar coins.
